The Beginning of the End?
The majority in leadership might see it that way, but I say different!
Every day in America since 20 January 2025, at least 2 new events come across news wires to inform us of new civil liberties that have been usurped or otherwise violated. The most recent to catch my eye was Project Esther, a creation of the Heritage Foundation designed to crush the fictional “Hamas Support Network” and combat antisemitism, and by extension anti Israel, anti Zionist, and anti American groups, using counter intelligence and immigration and RICO laws. ‘Esther’ also targets American Jews due to their “complacency” and, if they didn’t vote MAGA, “disloyalty”. Wow.
In my eternal quest to understand how and why people think like they do, and how they can continue to use created reality to impose their own ideology on the rest of us, I came across an interesting word: millennialism.
Brittanica.com defines millennialism as the belief, expressed in the book of Revelation (Apocalypse) in the Bible, that “Christ will establish a thousand year reign of the saints on earth before the Last Judgment”. Whence the Second Coming, the Kingdom of God will then be established, God will judge, and the faithful will be rewarded.
Some Christians hold that God’s kingdom will come when and where He decides, and at no other time or place. Unfortunately, those who endeavor to control the United States government are ready to bring it on at their own behest, right here in the good old USA. One denomination in particular, the New Apostolic Reformation, declared in 2022 that they “have been given legal power and authority from Heaven” to take over government and to take dominion of earth by way of spiritual battle.
New Apostolic Reformation notables relevant here include Lance Wallnau, televangelist and author of “God’s Chaos Candidate” who proclaimed Donald Trump to have been anointed to reconstruct the U.S.; Christian nationalist Dutch Sheets, who prayed via speakerphone at the J6 riots for spiritual warfare against “spirits” at the Capitol; and Generals International spiritual warfare organization founder Cindy Jacobs, who prophesied of Trump that he was anointed by God to take over the U.S. government. More importantly, even though this author cannot verify he is part of the movement, Mike Johnson, United States Speaker of the House, who very recently got that “Big Beautiful Bill” through the House of Representatives, is closely aligned with leaders of the New Apostolic Reformation according to the Southern Poverty Law Center.
Whether Trump is architect or tool of the burgeoning theocratic empire forming today pales in comparison to how it can be stopped. If you find my argument relevant or compelling, please share it with as many humans as possible. My hope is simply to prevent the welding of church to state and allow individual freedom of thought and action to return to each human’s life. ☮️
